VIDEO: Rep. Mary Dye and other House Republicans battle against Senate Bill 6058 that would like Washington’s carbon market to California/Quebec

Recently, House Republicans, including Rep. Mary Dye, ranking Republican on the House Environment and Energy Committee, battled against a bill (Senate Bill 6058) that would link Washington’s carbon market to California and Quebec. House Republicans oppose this policy and the Climate Commitment Act (CCA), which has placed extraordinary financial burdens on low-income Washingtonians. Instead, we support Initiative 2117, which would repeal the CCA.
