Dear Friends and Neighbors,

I hope you will join me and Rep. Joe Schmick tonight at 6:30 p.m. for a 9th District Online Town Hall Meeting!

We are now past our first major deadline – the house of origin cutoff — in which bills must be passed out of the chamber where they originated, or they may be “dead” for the session. That’s winnowed down more than a thousand House bills in play to 272 that have now passed off the House floor.

Tonight, Rep. Schmick and I will provide an update on the 2024 legislative session and discuss the good and bad bills that have moved forward, and then take questions from participants. Citizens may also submit written questions during the registration process.

There’s still time to register for the one-hour town hall by going to http://tinyurl.com/09-LD-Schmick-Dye. The remote event will be conducted using the Zoom platform. After registering, a confirmation email will be sent about joining the webinar.

We hope to see you there!
