Rep. Mary Dye discusses energy policy on KONA Radio
Speaking with Robb Francis and John McKay on the KONA Radio “Bottom Line” program, Rep. Mary Dye voiced her concerns about Gov. Jay Inslee's plan to sidestep county and city officials in his efforts to fast-track siting of solar farms and windmills in Eastern Washington. Dye says local officials and tribes should have their voices heard and considered when the Energy Facility Site Evaluation Council decides where to locate wind and solar. Dye has introduced House Bill 1123 to ensure local consultation.
