Rep. Mary Dye, R-Pomeroy, the ranking Republican on the House Enviroment and Energy Committee, warns the public that Gov. Jay Inslee is leading efforts to eliminate the use of natural gas in Washington. The governor is pushing legislation and changes in Washington state's building codes that would kills thousands of jobs supported by the natural gas industry. Dye notes this effort will do little to eliminate carbon, and would drive up energy costs to consumers.
