Rep. Mary Dye discusses her legislation to support the House Republican ORCA Plan


Rep. Mary Dye, R-Pomeroy, who serves as ranking Republican on the House Environment and Energy Committee, discusses three bills she has introduced as part of the House Republican ORCA Plan (Outdoor Recreation and Climate Adaptation). The legislation would invest in Puget Sound clean-up, provide for flood mitigation, spend Climate Commitment Act dollars to help expand irrigation into farmlands as part of drought resiliency, improve forest health, and expand outdoor recreation opportunities by reducing park fees, including elimination of the Discover Pass.
