Rep. Mary Dye sponsors Albion teen as House page

Rep. Mary Dye, R-Pomeroy, sponsored 15-year-old Kallai Molsee of Albion as a page in the Washington State House of Representatives during the week of Feb. 17 through Feb. 21.

Kallai, who is home-schooled, spent her week at the Capitol attending page school every day and delivering messages and documents to lawmakers in their offices and on the House floor.

Kallai enjoys playing piano, baking, reading and science. She is the daughter of Laban and Holly Molsee of Albion.

Each week during the legislative session, students 14-to 16-years old from across the state serve in the legislative page program. They must have a legislative member as a sponsor, as well as permission from their school and parents. They are paid $35 per day.
